SAORI fabric

This Christmas holiday, I treated myself to some Saori style weaving.

I have high hopes that this will become a skirt.

The weft is linen, the warp is a mixture of handspun lace weight and sock weight yarn, with some bits of fibre and thrums.

That fabric looks stunning, and I look forward to seeing whatever you choose to make with it (be it a skirt or something else).

I'm glad you had a merry Christmas, and I wish you many more to come!
